- On-street parking is always free.
- Next to the Conti building, as well as behind.
- In the Post Office lot.
- In the lot between the firehouse and our building.
Please be advised that the lot across the street from us is NOT public parking, and you will be towed if you park there.
-
How much do you charge?
Our shop minimum is $100. Our hourly rate is $150, which is the average rate in Connecticut. However, sometimes tattoos take longer, and others take less time, so tattoos are always priced according to the fairness of our abilities. A day rate price estimate may be implemented according to the artist’s discretion.
-
Do you require deposits?
Yes, to solidify an appointment with any of our artists, a deposit is required. If a deposit is not placed, you do not have an appointment. We try our best to allow a day or so for deposits to be sent. Our full deposit policy can be read here.
-
Can I see my custom design ahead of time?
We do not send designs over. If larger changes to the design are requested, please let your artist know as soon as possible. If small changes need to be made, that can be discussed with your artist to avoid miscommunication. Reviewing your artist’s previous work and putting trust in them is important before making an appointment!
-
Do you take credit or debit cards?
Cash is preferred, but we have a card reader for your convenience. We also accept Afterpay. You can read more about Afterpay here.
-
How old do I need to be to be tattooed?
The state of Connecticut does not legally allow anyone under the age of 16 to be tattooed. For minors aged 16 & 17, we do require a parent/guardian to be present for the entire tattoo procedure. A birth certificate for the minor and a form of ID from both the parent/guardian and the minor are required.
-
How can I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
We always advise our clients that being comfortable and relaxed is the most important part. Please wear clothing that will be comfortable for you to sit for a long period. Also, wear clothing that will make access to the tattoo as easy as possible. Examples would be a tank top for the shoulder area, or shorts for the leg area. If you prefer to wear headphones to your appointment, you are more than welcome to! Stay hydrated and bring water if you need to. Make sure to eat beforehand, and avoid drinking alcohol the night before. Avoid heavy sun exposure before the appointment, and have a good night’s rest prior. Please let us know prior if you have any concerns regarding preparation for your visit!
-
What do you recommend for aftercare?
Please visit our aftercare page for our in-depth recommendations for taking care of your new tattoo. Our artists will go over the aftercare when your tattoo is finished.
